Tom, along with his wife Shelley, own and operate Long & Foster’s Campbell Team, LLC. Their motto is “Real Estate is Our Career, Helping People Our Passion”. Tom has been a licensed REALTOR since 1997.
In 1971 he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and in 1973 accepted an appointment to the United States Naval Academy, graduating in 1977. After resigning his commission in 1987, Tom worked for Northrup-Grumman as a contracts specialist until 2003. He left Northrup-Grumman to concentrate solely on his real estate business. He and Shelley built their home in Marshall and moved to Fauquier County in March 2003.
Tom served 3 years on the Board of Directors of the Fauquier County Chamber of Commerce, 2 years as the Vice-Chair of Legislative Affairs. In addition to currently serving on the Greater Warrenton Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, he is the President–Elect of the Rotary Club of Warrenton and will be the Club president for the 2011-2012 fiscal year. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater Piedmont Area Association of REALTORS, their REALTOR Political Action/Legislative Committee and on the Education Committee. He is a certified Ethics instructor and was accepted into the Virginia Association of REALTORS Leadership Academy Class of 2011.
